Day 30

Slept like a baby last night.Crackin sleep
Oh well its day 30 and the end of the challenge is nigh.
BWW done with extra reps all round on the last set.Be glad to see the back of BWW, a very hard session
Breakfast was 4 eggs salad and blueberries. 1 litre of water and cup of tulsi tea.


Really hungry today, lunch was a sweet potato, turkey curry and cabbage. Also had so blueberries with cashew nuts.....
ICP done same time as my fastest....5 circuits and added 10 extra reps to each exercise on the 5th.
Looking forward to dinner which will be minced beef hash, with celeriac and parsnip mash....ooooh so looking forward to it..

Well that's DBM done, 2 sets and by my reckoning that was the 3rd and last session of day 30...Im done, I did it! 30 days complete......


Last check in of the last day.....Part of me feels sad its all over, but part of me is glad.I am feeling tired and am looking forward to some rest and more free time. I have noticed over the last couple of days I have been really hungry. I will continue with ED level 3. I enjoyed the wave and IF.

Day 29

Slept well, but feel a bit tired.Penultimate day. Last PC and did 80&65, big effort.
Breakfast, eggs and spinach, 1 litre of water and cup of tulsi tea.


Lunch, leftover pork and walnuts, spring greens and sprouts.
Pyramid, slower due forgetting what I was meant to be doing!!! doh!
dinner, cabbage and turkey and mushroom curry....

Supps taken and tulsi tea in hand.
Only managed two workouts today, just a mega busy day and not enough time. How I managed to fit in 4 workouts Ill never know!

Day 28

BWW done, added extra reps to all sets and really upped it on the last set of each exercise, wow did that hurt!!!
Breakfast was boiled eggs, watercress spinach and chard, 1 litre of water with a squeeze of lemon and a cup of tulsi tea.

No snack today and a late lunch of chicken balti with spring greens and broccoli.
ICP, 1 second faster and 5 sets complete with 10 extra reps on each exercise in the 5th.

Dinner was slow cooked pork with walnuts, spring greens and sprouts.

DM done....2 sets well controlled, slow movements...burned like buggery.....
Supps taken, cup of tulsi tea and that brings day 28 to a conclusion

Day 27

Slept well.PC done 74 & 50.Hard going
Breakfast will be zilch, and so will lunch ; ) Frees up so much time!


Pyramid done, 2 seconds slower because I was messing about, forgetting what the next exercise was....
Fast has gone really well, although I am feeling hungry just now as the smell from the kitchen is awesome!!





Dinner was fantastic, chicken balti  minus the tomatoes with January cabbage and broccoli.....ooft!!!
Next up is meltdown


Meltdown done, changed a couple of exercises and all densities were up bar where new exercises were used.
Feel so much stronger with spidey now.

Day 26

Slept well apart from being awakened at 4am by the people above us!

BWW done...killer session, more reps, more effort, much burning of the muscles which is just weakness leaving the body. : )
Breakfast, some blueberries, then salad with tomatoes and of course boiled eggs and butter.Immense!
Litre of water.


ICP done!- 17 secs off yesterdays time, completed 5 circuits, cut down on rest in between and added of few more reps on the 5 set. 
Lunch will be sweet potato, salmon and salad.


DM done. 2 sets, thought my shoulders were about to melt.Exercise for today finished, and for the first time ever before 7pm...result, go me!! : )
Dinner was beef hash with carrots, parsnip and celeriac mash......lovely!
And now the fast after the feast.....bring it on....

Day 25

BWW complete, now that was a workout, added a rep to each set, and really worked hard.
Last nights sleep was amazing, really deep and slept right through....
Breakfast of eggs with mixed salad.


Really busy day again, parkrun in the morning then 2 clients to put through their paces(part time PT, hoping to be able to leave the day job soon), then off to the athletics at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow.
Just completed the ICP, and went through 5 rounds.9 secs slower than last time but bear in mind my weights have gone up as have the reps, so Im chuffed with that!.In the last circuit I added in some extra reps.Good session


Dinner was a nice big fillet steak, with cauliflower, cabbage and a bit of butter.
Had a greens drink, half litre of water and a cup of tulsi tea.......Im happy!


DM x2 heavier weight.... done!

Day 24

PC done 72 and 42.....walkouts getting harder.
Breakfast was eggs with watercress spinach and rocket salad
1 litre water and cup of tulsi tea


Snack of nuts and half an avocado.
Lunch was chicken with sprouts and spring greens, had some leftover lamb too....Just loving my food!!!
Pyramid climbed and descended safely, albeit slower than the last time, I upped the weight used, thats my excuse and Im sticking to it.....  : )


Meltdown done, upped the weight again.Feel so much stronger with the spiderman exercise, used to hate it but not now......
Dinner was steak with broccoli and spring greens with a cashew nut sauce.....lovely

Over 4 litres of water today. Upped my zinc and mag .
Cup of tulsi tea, meditation then bed.

Day 23

Wasn't really looking forward to BWW this morning.Its a hard session, but that just makes more more determined to beat it, and beat it I did.All supersets done with full reps in each.Hard going but its DONE!
IF day to day...so dont need to worry about food.Quite liberating actually.Plenty of water though.
ICP, retested and upped the weight,really busy day not getting back home till 11pm.
Dinner was lamb and cashew curry, spring greens and sprouts

Slept really well.
PC went well, 70 and 40.
Breakfast was eggs, blueberries and a greens drink. Water with lemon and a cup of tulsi tea.
Off to work soon.Energy is good today, feel that buzz......

Pyramid done, albeit  30 seconds slower.....

Dinner was steak with sweet potatoes and broccoli.Lovely!!

Day 21

Felt tired this morning.Bww was a killer, managed all supersets, getting to 10 with all of them.Really hard going.
Breakfast is boiled eggs, salad and tulsi tea.
Snack of Avocado and nuts

Lunch was beef madras with  spring greens and cauliflower
ICP done a few seconds quicker and 5 sets completed.
Dinner of chicken balti minus the tomatoes.
3 litres drunk already

DBM, 2 sets nice and slow, well controlled.Must be my favourite workout.
Supps taken with tulsi tea. 4 litres of water for the day

Day 20

Slept like a log last night,
PC done- 68 and 38, tough going.....but its another workout down
Breakfast eggs with broccoli, cayenne pepper and butter.
Plenty of water

Snack of half an avocado with some nuts.
Lunch was spicy pork with broccoli and sprouts.
3 litres of water have been drunk by this point
Pyramid done 47 secs faster......feeling so much stronger if a little tired today


Meltdown complete, bit of a mixed bag today, some were up others were down....hey ho, still, gave it my best.
Dinner was beef madras cauliflower and spring greens......immense!

Cardio done.....20 min walk

Supps taken, along with tulsi tea. over 4 litres of water today.Feeling tired now.

Day 19

Slept well last night,
Body weight exercises done!...ooft, was that a challenge, completed all with 12 reps and 4 supersets of each pair
Breakfast, was a plate of boiled nothing with supps and water, cup of tulsi tea
Lunch will be fresh air
Dinner, will be amazin!!!
Plenty of fluids though....tulsi tea and water.
Looking forward to actually having a break from food. 24 IF won't be a problem as I have already done a bit of IF before.


Had a really busy day......drank plenty of water .
ICP was 3 secs slower than yesterday, only completed 3 circuits.Just felt listless, but it is coming to the end of my fast.

Slow cooked pork curry with walnuts and a mountain of green veg

DM 2 sets done, found it hard and tiring.....Dinner tasted amazing.Taste buds were awakened and more sensitive.

Day 18

Slept a bit longer this morning.Up at 6:30am and got stuck into meltdown.All densities up again since I progressed the weight.
It is refeed day today, yum, looking forward to it.
Breakfast, started with blueberries, then moved on to eggs with mixed salad and pine nuts.1 litre of water and 2 cups of tulsi tea.....
Lunch was chicken curry with curly kale and sprouts.
Snack of nuts and blueberries
ICP took 9 seconds off time....felt like throwing up. 5 circuits complete
Dinner was steak with parsnip and celeriac mash with broccoli and kale.
DBM done x2, very slow and controlled.Getting stronger

Day 17

DM, done x 2, Trying to stay slow and deliberate, under full control with good form.
Breakfast, eggs with broccoli and spring greens.
1 litre of water and a cup of tulsi tea with supps.
Snack of mixed nuts and half an avocado.
Lunch, salmon and plenty of greens
2 litres of water at work
66 and 36 PC done....arms hanging off.
Steady energy all day, feeling a bit tired after work.No rest for the wicked
Of for a run now.......
Intervals and I smashed it!!! Felt really strong
Pyramid, smashed that too,over a minute of my best.
Dinner was chicken curry with curly kale and sprouts.
Over 4 litres of water. Supps taken with tulsi tea.

Day 16

Pyramid first thing this morning, 1 second slower than best time!!! can you believe it, 1 whole second.....
Breakfast as usual was boiled eggs, had some pine nuts and cayenne pepper, lovely.One litre of water and a cup of tulsi tea.
Lunch was turkey curry and spring greens with broccoli.
Snack was mixed nuts
Meltdown, all densities up!!!
Dinner, lamb steaks with green veg


Cardio, an attempted run but the black ice round here is very bad, bit dangerous.Played it safe and walked for 20mins, as fast as I could give the conditions.
ICP, shaved 3 seconds of my best time.Did 5 hard circuits.Dipping in sweat at the end up.....I love it.
5 litres drunk today, the most ever I think.....Tulsi tea and supps, then off to bed.


Feel better today, a couple of days earlier in the week were a bit lacklustre......bounced back and Im still on it

wakened up at 5 this morning.I've had better sleeps.
Anyway got up and did ICP, slower than my fastest time, but was concentrating on form and tempo.Slowed everything down.Managed 5 circuits inside 20 minutes.Hard session
Breakfast, pinnt of lemon water, pint of water cup of tulsi tea, had supps
3 boiled eggs with butter and some nuts

Power circuit complete, 62 and 32 getting so much harder now.
Breakfast of black and blueberries, then boiled eggs.Lunch will be spicy pork, with cauliflower, sprouts and a sweet potato.
Snack:mixed nuts and berries
Lunch was spicy pork with sweet potato cauliflower and broccoli
Pyramid, 23 seconds off time.
Dinner was stir fy with turkey mince and sweet potato and peppers.
Cardio, 25 min brisk walk
Meltdown, all densities dropped, upped the weight and maintained strict form

Meltdown - upped most densities except shoulder press and c and p. Using heavier weight
Breakfast boiled eggs tulsi tea litre of lemon water
Lunch lamb leftovers from last night with brocolli and cabbage
ICP - smashed it, 18 secs of time, plus using heavier weights
Dinner, spicey pork, cauliflower and sprouts.
Cardio 25 min run
DM- 2 sets hard going but good.
Supps taken and washed down with tulsi tea.
Water intake 3.5 litres

Day 12

Good nights sleep last night.DM was most enjoyable, a bit tai chi like, very slow and controlled.Loved it
Breakfast of eggs, with butter and cayenne pepper.Tulsi tea
Lunch was more eggs and a salad with nuts as a snack
PC done 60 and 30, felt as if my shoulders were about to fall off as I did a set of DM first.
Pyramid before dinner and smashed my time by a good minute!!
Dinner was a lamb curry, very tasty with brocolli cabbage and spinach
Cardio was a 15min run.
All supps taken and so to bed
Hit target for water also had a couple of tulsi teas.
Looking forward to the next high carb day.Feel I could use a boost as I didnt fully take advantage of the last one.

Pyramid done, but a bit slower today.Feeling tired and a bit down :-(
Eggs for breakfast

Lunch was avacado salad with eggs.
Next up Meltdown-which wasnt as good as usual.Feeling very tired now.
Dinner was beef stew with celeriac mash
All supps taken washed down with tulsi tea and the water count is 3 litres.
Early to bed now.Not my best day but I did what I could

Day 10

Double figures already
Meltdown done, improved densities in all bar the step back lunge.Great sleep last night even though I was later to bed.
Breakfast was eggs, nuts ,tulsi tea and water....
Snack of nuts and blueberries
Lunch, garlic chicken with curly kale.
ICP, retested and set a benchmark time to beat......
Cardio, power walk, I will run tomorrow since my back is better now.
Dinner was a beef madras and cauliflower....beautiful.

Day 9

Another great sleep last night.Supplements are working fine.Makes all the difference getting to bed earlier and putting the laptop off way ahead of bedtime!
Awakened before the alrm this morning for the second day running.Straight into ICP and knocked a second off my time.Completed 5 circuits before breakfast, which as usual was eggs, tulsi tea and a litre of water.
Off to work now.Got a really packed day and may struggle to complete all 4 workouts but will give it my best!!!
Back is definitely getting better.....


ICP done , breakfast was eggs.Lunch was chicken and veg.Dinner was turkey curry with veggies.Had a majorly busy day and did not get home till 11pm. Missed a couple of exercise sessions, but I just couldnt fit them in.I went straight from work to an arrow break.All to do with getting rid of fears, putting the pointed end of an arrow against the throat, the other against a wall, and pushing till the arrow breaks or not....I broke my arrow, dealing with some past issues in the process.....

Day 8

Wow, day 8 already.
Sleeping much better now.Back still sore, but I got up and went through PC. 54 and 24
Breakfast of eggs and nuts, tulsi tea, and a litre of water with lemon juice.
Lunch is Salmon with sprouts. Low carb day 2.Feeling good.

In from work and straight into the Pyramid, completed in 15.41....
Dinner was an nice chicken curry on a bed of kale and spinach....yum :-)
Brisk walk followed dinner out in the wind, brilliant!!
Straight into meltdown.....all densities up!!!

Day 7

Low carb day- had a much better sleep last night.My back is still sore, but I managed to get through a full pyramid inside 20 mins, with out pushing too hard.The sit ups were omitted though as they caused me pain.
Breakfast of eggs again!!!! but hey I love em.
Off to work shortly, this should be good fun.....a brisk walk at lunch time I think. The walk last night help ease off the back pain.Don't mean to go on about it, but I wont be beaten....I'll keep doing what I can.

Snacked on some of my lunch,Lunch will be tuna and cabbage, with a snack of some nuts

Cardio, brisk walk and then completed 4 rounds of ICP, time was the best yet!!!!

Day 6

Ooft, slept in a bit this morning, still not getting to sleep easily, more restful last night when I did eventually conk out.I think the reason is the . Need to switch off earlier.
Meltdown done, really struggled this morning with all densities down :-( but hey I did it , I did not give up.
Breakfast of boiled eggs , cup of tulsi tea and a litre of water........off to work now


At work today I misjudged my footing and did something to my back.I dont want to take pain killers, would it be benefical to take extra omega 3 fish oil to act as an anti inflammatory. I dont want to miss out on the exercise so Ill go for a brisk walk, and have a go the Power circuit, but Im not sure about the ICP. I dont think I could go hell for leather....
Anyway that aside, lunch was left over clean chicken curry, with sweet potato, cabbage and broccoli......What a lunch....loved it.
Did the PC after my bath to see if it would ease my back.Had dinner of beef stew , celeriac mash cabbage.....BRILLIANT
Brisk walk afterwards then 2 cups of tulsi tea.Supps taken andwater for day reached 4 litres.
Bed now......
